China strives to establish a preliminary innovation system for humanoid robots by 2025

According to the website of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, on November 2, 2023, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology issued a notice on the "Guiding Opinions on the Innovative Development of Humanoid Robots", hereinafter referred to as the "Notice".

The integration of advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence, high-end manufacturing, and new materials into humanoid robots is expected to become a disruptive product after computers, smartphones, and new energy vehicles, profoundly transforming human production and lifestyle, and reshaping the global industrial development pattern. Currently, the accelerated evolution of humanoid robot technology has become a new highland for technological competition, a new track for future industries, and a new engine for economic development. It has great development potential and broad application prospects.

  Adopting a method of technology grading, product generation, and task staging, we will leverage the advantages of a comprehensive range of manufacturing industries, rich application scenarios, large market size, and a new national system to accelerate the innovative development of China's humanoid robot industry, and provide support for building a strong manufacturing country, a strong network country, and a digital China.
